Rivturf is a small, locally owned and run family business operating in North Wagga since about 1996. We initially planted 14 acres of kikuyu, gradually increasing our stocks to the current 45 acres of kikuyu and 30 acres of Sir Walter Premium Lawn Turf on two properties in the North Wagga area.
We pride ourselves on our quality product and service, as well as a commitment to responsible business growth, constantly mindful of environmental issues and the community in which we live.
Over recent years, due to the ongoing drought, we have experienced the same pressures as all other businesses in the area, in particular due to our high reliance on water to grow our product. We have been forced to adapt our business practices to ensure our ability to grow and continue to provide quality service and product to local families, builders, landscapers and other businesses.
These adaptations include the purchase of more efficient and reliable irrigation equipment, as well as altering our irrigation practices to water more efficiently and cost effectively. We continue to explore more cost effective and ecologically aware practices.
