Watering
After laying your new turf, water the lawn well so that the soil beneath the turf is quite wet. Keep it quite damp for a week or so.
Once established deep infrequent waterings are recommended rather than frequent shallow hosing. This will encourage the roots to develop deeply and the lawn to be more resistant to hot and dry weather.
Early morning watering will allow the soil to retain moisture whilst taking advantage of the daily start of the grass' normal growing cycle.
Keep in mind that too much water can ruin a lawn just as fast as too little water

Mowing
Your new lawn will need mowing approximately two weeks after laying.
You should maintain your lawn at the recommended height for that variety to minimise clippings and allow for maximum leaf and root growth.
Remember - you should never remove more than 1/3 of the leaf surface at any one time.

Fertlizing
In general fertilizer should be applyed at the begging of Spring and Autumn. Other applications may be necessary depending on the weather and the condition of the grass.
We recommend the use of a complete fertilizer such as Dynamic Lifter or Pivot 400.
