There is a growing interest and demand in Sir Walter Premium Lawn Turf as a choice for lawns. It is a hardy grass, soft in texture, dark green in colour and recovers from frost damage quite well.
Sir Walter, once established, requires less watering and less mowing than other grasses, grows well in shady areas and is tolerant of saline soils. It is slow growing and easily kept from invading garden beds and footpaths.
Sir Walter soft leaf buffalo should be kept to a height of 40mm when mowing and will require deep watering just once a fortnight. To maintain growth and colour fertilizing is recommended in Spring and Autumn.
